Personalised nutritional therapy for leaders, entrepreneurs and change makers.

Invest in yourself.

Hello, my name is Karen and welcome to Amplify Nutritional Therapy.  I am a degree qualified and Registered Nutritional Therapist and MBANT Nutritionist.  Without PR, media and marketing, my practice has grown based on my results, the quality of my support, and the word of mouth recommendation of my clients.

I created Amplify for leaders like you.  I help executives, entrepreneurs, and change makers who frequently sacrifice their own health for their work.  I’m here to help you become a master of your own health and wellbeing.   It is wellbeing that drives success and productivity – often we think it is the other way around.

Outwardly successful people who frequently appear to be doing well, are not BEING well.  Over time, the lack of attention to our personal health and wellbeing which often starts with brain fog, fatigue, weight issues, or gut issues, can build up into more serious illness such as cardio-vascular disease, auto immune disease, diabetes and more.

I work one to one with you to create personalised nutrition and lifestyle programs based on the science of what really works.  My mission is to provide personalised nutrition support combined with motivational coaching in order to help you to feel great so you can do great.  This is achieved with nutrition support, know-how and coaching in a way that fits with your lifestyle, combined with the very latest science and evidence-based practice.

Whilst I specialise in gut and gut related health issues, I help clients to create more energy, better mental clarity and focus, improve gut health, address weight management concerns, improve immune health and hormonal health.

I was once in your shoes and therefore I take a highly pragmatic and compassionate approach, grounded in my own experience both as an executive and entrepreneur. I understand first-hand how easy it is to neglect your personal health and wellness with a demanding career.

We all have a tendency to put others first, but in doing so, we can sometimes neglect ourselves. Let me be your advocate and show you a kinder, gentler way to treat the most important person in your life.

I am delighted to be able to combine my love and expertise of nutritional therapy with executive coaching and mentoring in order to be able to help people achieve their wellness objectives

Latest Recipes

It would not be a nutritional therapy website without some recipe ideas. Here you can find my own creations as well as some delicious and healthy recipes curated and adapted from some of my favourite chefs and bloggers.

Tales from a Dorset Kitchen

I love sitting at my kitchen table when I’m feeling creative. It feels so much nicer than sitting in my office where I do ‘proper’ work and from here I have some glorious views of my garden. These pages are my latest random musings on nutrition and lifestyle related topics. You may also get some ramblings about my garden too.

News

I am a science geek and I love to stay on top of some of the latest research -no matter how controversial it may be. On these pages you will find a small selection of some of the literature I’m reading right now. I like to critically appraise evidence and individualise it when helping clients. I provide a short commentary followed by a link through to the study. I choose studies and articles that you can access yourself so you can read the papers in more detail if you would like to and make up your own mind. Sometimes, I’ll curate reviews and analysis of research by some of my favourite functional medical doctors and other specialists.
